Former Borussia Dortmund and Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has been named the new global head of football operations within the Red Bull system, as announced by journalist and insider Christian Falk on social media.
According to reports, Klopp will officially take up his new role on January 1, 2025. It’s worth noting that after the previous season, Jurgen left Liverpool and expressed plans to take a year-long break from football.
He has also stated that he does not intend to coach any teams again, having previously declined the opportunity to manage the England national team.
Klopp began his coaching career at Mainz and gained worldwide recognition during his time at Borussia Dortmund. With Liverpool, he secured titles including the Champions League, Premier League, and other prestigious tournaments.
