Bayern striker Harry Kane commented on his first season with the German club.
The Daily Mail quoted Kane as saying:
Of course, it's not the season I wanted with the way the league has gone and the way we got knocked out of the cup. Not winning the Bundesliga is a tough pill to swallow and it makes this competition even more important but we know there's still a long way to go.
In the last round of the German championship, the Englishman celebrated a goal against Heidenheim, which allowed him to break the record for the number of goals scored by players in their first season in the Bundesliga.
After 31 rounds Bayern are second in the Bundesliga standings, 16 points behind first-place Bayer.
