Bayern Munich newcomer Harry Kane became the first player in the history of the German championship who managed to score 15 goals in ten starting matches of the Bundesliga season.
The 30-year-old Englishman made a hat-trick in the Bayern squad in the winning match of the 10th matchday of Bundesliga over Borussia Dortmund (4:0). Thanks to this result, Kane moved up to the top spot in the current Bundesliga scorers' race, overtaking Stuttgart center-forward Serhou Guirassy (14 goals). Moreover, the England striker became the record holder for the number of goals scored in ten starting games of the season - ten goals.
Earlier, Bayern head coach Thomas Tuchel commented on the sensational departure from the German Cup after a loss to third division team Saarbrücken (1:2), noting that this is not the last defeat in life.
