French midfielder of Juventus Paul Pogba is provisionally suspended because of a positive doping test. This is reported by Reuters with reference to the statement of the National anti-doping tribunal of Italy.
Earlier, La Gazzetta dello Sport reported that the 30-year-old Frenchman's sample showed high levels of testosterone. Pogba faces suspension from football for up to four years.
The player tested positive after the match of the 1st round of Serie A with Udinese (3-0), which took place on August 20. The Turin club's contract with Pogba runs until the end of the 2025/26 season.
