Real Madrid forward Jude Bellingham has come to the defense of his teammate Kylian Mbappe, asserting that the French star will keep improving.
Kylian's been absolutely great coming in. He gets a lot of criticism and it's a bit over the top, for me. I think if you look at what he's contributed so far, it's really good. It's scary because I see him every day in training and I know he's only going to get better.
Bellingham stated at a press conference ahead of Real Madrid's match against Liverpool in the Champions League.
Mbappé's statistics at Real Madrid so far:
- 17 matches;
- 9 goals;
- 2 assists;
- 1 yellow card
The French forward joined the Madrid club as a free agent in the summer of 2024 after his contract with Paris Saint-Germain ended. His contract with Real Madrid runs until the summer of 2029.
