The official Chelsea website announced the transfer of goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen from Villarreal. The 22-year-old Dane signed a contract until 2031.

According to preliminary information, Chelsea will pay 24.5 million euros for the goalkeeper. The interest of the Londoners to the player first became known on July 25.
Jorgensen played for Villarreal since July 2015. In the 2023/24 season, he played 37 matches, conceded 64 goals and kept six clean sheets.
