
In Los Angeles, jewelry valued at around half a million dollars was stolen from the home of former French national team striker Olivier Giroud, according to TMZ Sports.
On February 5, Giroud’s wife noticed a broken window and reported the burglary to the police. Several valuable items were missing, including over ten expensive men's watches. The footballer's wife reported the total loss to be nearly $500,000. No arrests have been made yet, and the investigation is ongoing.
Giroud, who is 38 years old, has been playing for Los Angeles FC since July 2024. Previously, he has played for AC Milan, Chelsea, Arsenal, and several French clubs. He has earned 137 caps for the French national team, scoring 57 goals, making him the team's all-time leading scorer and a winner of the 2018 World Cup. Giroud ended his international career in July 2024.
