Inter Milan are considering the acquisition of Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones as a potential replacement for Hakan Çalhanoglu, should the 31-year-old Turkish player leave the club this summer, according to InterLive.
Liverpool's head coach Arne Slot has not included Jones in the main team lineup, which could result in the 24-year-old English midfielder's transfer to another club.
Jones, a product of Liverpool's youth academy, has been playing for the first team since July 2020. He has made a total of 167 appearances for the club, scoring 19 goals and providing 20 assists. His current contract with the club runs until June 2027, and his market value is estimated at €45 million by Transfermarkt.
Previously, GiveMeSport reported that Liverpool has shown interest in acquiring Bournemouth defender Milos Kerkez.
