The players of Inter will take the field for the upcoming UEFA Champions League Round of 16 match against Atletico Madrid wearing mourning armbands in memory of the late Andreas Brehme.
The 1990 World Cup champion passed away on Monday night in Munich due to heart failure. Brehme was 63 years old.
As a member of Inter from 1988 to 1992, the German won the UEFA Cup, the Serie A championship, and the Italian Super Cup.
The first leg between Inter and Atletico will take place on Tuesday, February 20. The kickoff at the Giuseppe Meazza stadium is scheduled for 23:00 GMT+3.
