Jorge Mas, one of the owners of Inter Miami FC, has spoken about the potential contract extension with 37-year-old forward Lionel Messi, whose current deal is set to expire on December 31, 2025.
Journalist Ben Jacobs quotes Jorge Mas on social media:
I'll be sitting with Leo, you know, now at some point in the offseason. And I'm optimistic that as long as Leo's health holds up, that we'll be seeing him in pink.
Messi has been with Inter Miami since the summer of 2023. Transfermarkt currently estimates the Argentine player at 25 million euros.
Earlier reports suggested that Messi is close to extending his contract with Inter Miami.
