Inter Miami head coach Gerardo Martino commented on the condition of Lionel Messi, who was substituted in the first half of the regular season MLS match against Toronto FC.
Goal quotes Martino as saying:
It’s bothersome. I don’t know if it hurts. I can’t really explain as it’s more a medical topic, it‘s probable it bothers him (Messi) to the point, including mentally, that he isn’t able to play freely.
Earlier, Martino said that Messi and Jordi Alba will miss the next MLS match, in which Inter Miami will play Orlando.
Also, Messi said in an interview that he is not thinking about ending his professional football career and is enjoying the current stage of it.
