Former Barcelona and Spanish national team midfielder Andres Iniesta may move to Inter Miami, Mundo Deportivo reports.
The 39-year-old midfielder might reunite with his former Barcelona partners Lionel Messi and Sergio Busquets and former Catalan manager Gerardo Martino, who signed contracts with Inter Miami in the summer of 2023, if he moves to the American club.
It was previously reported that defender Jordi Alba, who left Barcelona at the end of the 2022/23 season, may become another newcomer to the team.
In early July, Iniesta left Japanese club Vissel Kobe, where he had played since 2018.
Iniesta won nine Spanish titles and four Champions League titles with Barcelona. The player has 131 matches and 14 goals for the Spanish national team. He won the European Championship twice and the 2010 World Cup as a player of the national team.
