Milan striker Zlatan Ibragimović has confirmed the end of his professional career.
The player announced this after the match of the 38th round of Serie A against Verona (3-1). The Swede did not play that day, but made a speech to the fans after the match.
Ibrahimović has played for Malmö, Ajax, Juventus, Inter, Barcelona, AC Milan, Paris Saint-Germain, Los Angeles Galaxy and Manchester United. He has 122 matches and 62 goals for the Swedish national team.
Recall that the forward underwent surgery in May 2022 due to cruciate ligament injury.
Zlatan, 41, has played a total of four games and scored one goal in the current season. His contract with the club is valid till the summer of 2023.
The Transfermarkt portal estimates the market value of the player at €2 million. Ibrahimović played 122 matches for the Sweden national team, scored 62 goals and made 25 assists.
