After leaving Los Blancos, the midfielder may continue his career in the North American Football League or retire from professional sports if he does not find a worthy club. At the moment Vancouver Whitecaps are interested in him.
It is noted that the Belgian will stay in Madrid if he leaves football.
The 32-year-old has played for Real Madrid since 2019. Last season he took part in ten matches for the Madrid team in all championships, scoring a goal and giving two assists.
