According to the Mirror, hackers have taken over the official social media account of French national team player and Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappé.
The hackers posted messages claiming that the "MBAPPE" token had reached 90,000 sales, and included derogatory remarks about various football clubs, as well as comments on the rivalry between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
One post read, "Cristiano Ronaldo is the greatest football player of all time. The midget [Lionel Messi] is NOT my goat." The hackers also insulted Tottenham, suggested that Mbappé is a Manchester United fan planning to transfer to the club, and included several politically charged posts. All of these messages were later removed from the account.
Mbappé transferred from Paris Saint-Germain to Real Madrid this summer. He has played three matches for los Blancos, scoring one goal. Meanwhile, PSG may face exclusion from the Champions League due to debts owed to their former striker.
