Under Guardiola's guidance, Manchester City currently hold the fifth position in the Premier League table, wih 27 points in 15 games this season. They also sit in 22nd place in the UEFA Champions League standings with eight points after six group stage matches.
Previously, Guardiola expressed dissatisfaction with the match schedule and the lack of players available.
