Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola has approved the transfer of Uzbek defender Abdukodir Khusanov from Lens during the winter transfer window, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Transfermarkt website estimates the 20-year-old Uzbekistan international player at €12 million. In 16 matches this season, Khusanov has contributed one assist.
Reports indicate that the player is eagerly awaiting the completion of the deal and the signing of a long-term contract with the reigning champions of England.
Earlier, Telecomasia.net reported that the Lens player is waiting for a visa to complete his transfer to Manchester City. It is reported that the transfer fee will amount to €50 million.
