Josep Guardiola, manager of Manchester City, has officially announced the extension of midfielder Ilkay Gundogan's contract with the team until 2026.
Gundogan returned to Manchester City last summer after playing for Barcelona during the previous season . Before joining the Spanish club, the midfielder had been with Manchester City since 2016.

During his time with the English club, Gundogan has appeared in 342 matches across all competitions, scoring 62 goals and providing 38 assists. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is estimated at 10 million euros.
