The match of the 32nd round of the Dutch championship between Groningen and Ajax was suspended because of a fans protest, informs Nos.nl.
The match taking place at Euroborg stadium in Groningen was stopped in the 9th minute (0-0).
The game was first interrupted in the sixth minute after smoke bombs were thrown from the stands. Then, a fan ran onto the field with an insulting banner addressed to the club's managers, and after that the home team's fans started throwing bombs again.
Ajax are third with 63 points. Groningen is 17th with 18 points.
