West Ham United Football Club has officially announced the appointment of Graham Potter as its new head coach. This was reported on the team's official website.
The announcement welcomes the 49-year-old coach, who has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract.
Potter will lead the team for the first time in an FA Cup third-round match against Aston Villa, scheduled for January 10 at 23:00 GMT+3.
The club highlighted Potter's high qualifications and demand, as he had been waiting for the right opportunity since leaving Chelsea in April 2023.
The last match for the previous West Ham manager Julen Lopetegui before his dismissal was against Manchester City, which West Ham lost with a score of 1-4.
