Gor Mahia head coach Leo Neiva says the team must impose itself tactically and physically as they prepare to face South Sudanese side El Merrikh Bentiu in the second leg of their CAF Champions League first preliminary round battle at Nyayo Stadium.
Speaking to Telecomasia.net, the tactician is confident they will get a win and sail into the second round.
Gor trail by a solitary goal from the first leg played at the newly constructed Juba Stadium last weekend, and Neiva says they have worked to address their shortcomings from that defeat, and are in a good place to go all out for a win.
Gor Mahia F.C. Head Coach Leo Neiva
We know that it was a difficult match there, but there are lessons we have picked. We have to be tough physically and tactically and we need to go all out and win. We don’t just need to win 1-0 but we have to score a lot of goals. We have worked to improved on our finishing and we need to ensure that we close the chances we get quick enough.
Gor have set a target of getting into the group stages of the CAF Champions League.
