According to a report from Goal, Neymar, the forward for Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal and Brazilian national team Olympic champion, may be set to leave the club.
In January 2025, the 32-year-old forward is expected to terminate his current contract with the capital team. Furthermore, Neymar has reportedly given preliminary consent for a transfer to Brazilian Serie A club Santos, where he previously played from 2009 to 2013.
On November 6, UOL reported that Neymar might depart from Al-Hilal due to his repeated injuries, having joined the team in August 2023. In the 2024/2025 season, he played only two matches in the AFC Champions League without making any contributions to the scoreline.
Neymar's current contract with Al-Hilal runs until the end of June 2025, and the online portal Transfermarkt estimates his market value at €30 million.
