Globe Soccer Awards has named 11 nominees for the title of player of the year.
The names of the final nominees for the Globe Soccer Awards' Player of the Year award have been revealed on the GSA Awards' social media accounts.
Midfielder of the national team of England and Real Madrid Jude Bellingham, French striker of Al-Ittihad Karim Benzema, Belgium midfielder Kevin De Bruyne and Norway forward Erling Haaland (both of Manchester City), striker of the French national team and PSG Kylian Mbappe are the finalists for the prestigious award, which will be presented to the best footballer at the end of 2023.
Also the shortlist of nominees includes Argentina captain and Inter Miami forward Lionel Messi, Nigeria and Napoli forward Victor Osimhen (Napoli), Egypt and Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah, Portugal and Al-Nassr striker Cristiano Ronaldo, Portugal and Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva and Brazil and Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior.
Kylian Mbappe has won the Globe Soccer Awards in the previous two years. Earlier, Lionel Messi's Inter Miami announced a friendly match against Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr, which will take place in winter 2024.
