The sports outlet Give Me Sport has released its ranking of the greatest central forwards in football history, notably omitting Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo from the list.
According to the publication, Brazilian legend Pelé secured the top spot. In second place is the Hungarian and Spanish player Ferenc Puskás, followed by German athlete Gerd Müller in third.
Pelé remains the only player in history to win the World Cup three times as a player. He is also a two-time Intercontinental Cup winner, a Copa Libertadores champion, and a ten-time champion of the São Paulo state championship, as well as a four-time winner of the Rio-São Paulo tournament with Santos.
