Former Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini has shared his thoughts on the debate between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, stating his preference for the Portuguese star, with whom he played at the Turin club.
According to Chiellini, it is difficult to say definitively who is the better player, but if he had to choose, he would lean towards Ronaldo.

Well, Ronaldo, when you are losing, he had the balls, no matter what, to try to win. Shoot from everywhere in order to lead the team to win. And it is not easy to do for a lot of players. Earlier reports indicated that Fenerbahce's head coach Jose Mourinho attempted to personally convince Ronaldo to join the Istanbul club, but the coach later denied these claims.
