Germany forward Niclas Füllkrug accidentally broke a fan's arm during the warm-up before the opening match of the Euro 2024 Championship against Scotland. This is reported by Sky Sport Germany.
According to sources, Fülkrug aimed at the goal and hit a 43-year-old fan sitting in the first row behind the nets. As a result, the man was taken to the hospital. It is reported that he did not require surgery and was discharged from the medical facility after midnight.
The match between Germany and Scotland took place on June 14 at the Allianz Arena in Munich, where the Germans claimed a resounding victory with a score of 5:1.
In the next match Scotland will face Switzerland, while Germany will play against Hungary.
