The press service of the national team reports that Francesco Acerbi, defender of Inter Milan and the Italian national team, will not be able to participate in the Euro 2024 championship due to an injury.
His spot in the national team will be taken by Federico Gatti of Juventus.
Currently, there are 30 players training with the Italian national team, but the final squad for Euro 2024 will be reduced to 26 players.
In the group stage, Italy will face Albania, Spain, and Croatia.
