Head coach of Marseille, Jean-Louis Gasset, stated that the 34th round match of the French Championship against Le Havre on May 19th will be his final match in his career.

I'm set to retire as head coach, tomorrow will be my final game as manager. This is my final decision.
The 70-year-old Gasset has been leading Marseille since February of this year. Previously, he worked with the Ivory Coast national team, Bordeaux, Saint-Etienne, as well as serving in the staff of PSG and the French national team.
His team has accumulated 47 points in 33 rounds of the 2023/24 Ligue 1 season and is currently placed in eighth position in the country's league standings.
