Germany national team striker Niclas Fullkrug has apologized to a fan whose arm he accidentally broke. The forward sent a shirt with his autograph to the injured fan.
The incident occurred during the warm-up before Germany's opening match in the group stage of Euro 2024 against Scotland (5:1) when the ball accidentally hit the supporter.
"For Kai. Get well soon! And sorry," he wrote on the shirt.
Germany finished first in Group A, collecting seven points in three matches, securing a spot in the tournament's knockout stage. Scotland ended the group stage at the bottom of their group, earning one point and exiting the championship.
