French national team captain Hugo Lloris has expressed his attitude toward wearing the captain's armband in the colors of the LGBT community at the World Cup in Qatar.

According to the French goalkeeper, respect for the culture and traditions of the country is the key issue. Thus, Lloris will have a regular armband on his arm for all upcoming matches of the World Cup.

Hugo Lloris
In France, we expect foreigners coming to our country to follow our rules and respect our laws. And I will do the same when I go to Qatar. It's that simple.

Recall that the French team is the reigning world champion. Didier Deschamps' wards will start the defense of the championship title won in Russia in 2018 with a match against Australia on November 22. The next opponents of the French are the teams from Denmark (November 26) and Tunisia (November 30).
