Official FourFourTwo website presented the list of the top 10 goalkeepers of the world in the XXI century. Former Juventus, PSG and Parma goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon, who announced the end of his career at the age of 45 in early August, topped the ranking.
Former Real Madrid and Spanish national team goalkeeper Iker Casillas took second place. The legendary Dutchman Edwin van der Sar, who guarded the goal of Manchester United, became the third.
The top ten also included Petr Čech, Manuel Neuer, Oliver Kahn, Víctor Valdés, David De Gea, Júlio César and Hugo Lloris.
