In the second-round match of the group stage between Croatia and Albania (2:2), Albanian midfielder Klaus Gjasula scored an own goal in the 76th minute.
Later, in the 95th minute, he scored a goal in Croatia's net, leveling the score and securing a draw for his team.
A total of four own goals were scored in the tournament. Besides Gjasula, other players who scored own goals are Antonio Rudiger (Germany), Maximilian Wober (Austria), and Robin Hranáč (Czech Republic).
No player in this Euro tournament has scored more than one own goal.
