During the previous season, he played 37 matches for the Spanish team, scoring seven goals and providing one assist.

Throughout his career, Ramos has also played for Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain. Currently, Monterrey are sitting in tenth place in the Mexican league, having gained six points from five matches.

The transfer news was first reported by famous journalist Fabrizio Romano. In related news, Argentine forward and Inter Miami captain Lionel Messi stated that Ramos was the player who frustrated him the most throughout his career.
