Former French Paris Saint-Germain and Argentina striker Ezequiel Lavezzi has been urgently hospitalized in Punta del Este (Uruguay). This is reported by three publications at once - RMC Sport, TyC Sports and O Globo.
According to the sources, the relatives of the 38-year-old Argentine stabbed him. Lavezzi received a stab wound to the abdomen and seriously damaged his collarbone. It is noted that the family quarrel was over money.
The investigation is being conducted by Maldonado police. Law enforcement officials have not yet given any comments on the case, reporting only about the injury to the collarbone of the ex-footballer.
