Former Milan and Serbian national team coach Siniša Mihajlović dies

Renowned Serbian ex-footballer and former AC Milan coach Siniša Mihajlović died at the age of 53 on December 16, 2022, according to journalist Nicolò Schira.

Earlier it became known that the specialist was hospitalized because of a deteriorating condition due to leukemia. The former coach had been ill since 2019. Mihajlović's condition worsened ten days ago.

In his career, the player performed with Roma, Sampdoria, Lazio and Inter. The footballer was twice champion of Italy, as well as three times winner of the Cup and the Super Cup of the country. As a head coach Mihajlović led Bologna, Catania, Fiorentina, Sampdoria, Milan, Torino and Sporting.
