Former Man Utd Coach Solskjaer to Lead Turkish Club Besiktas

According to Sports Digitale, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the 51-year-old former Manchester United coach from Norway, is set to take over as the head coach of the Turkish club Beşiktaş.

The source reports that the Norwegian specialist will observe the Turkish team's match against Samsunspor from the stands on January 18, before he officially starts working ahead of the UEFA Europa League match against Athletic Bilbao on January 22.

Solskjaer has been without a club since November 2021. His last position was at Manchester United, where he served as head coach from December 2018.

Throughout his career, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has also managed Molde and Cardiff City.

At present, Beşiktaş is in sixth place in the Turkish league, with the team earning 30 points after 18 matches.

It was also reported earlier that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer declined an offer to take over the Denmark national team.
