Nolito, the winner of the Europa League with Spanish Sevilla, has announced the end of his professional career.
The 36-year-old Spaniard wrote the following post on his Instagram:
The time has come where I have to say goodbye to the passion that has been my life for so many years: football. I have been privileged to enjoy this wonderful sport at the highest level.
During his career, Nolito has played for Spain's Celta, Barcelona and Granada, Portugal's Benfica and England's Manchester City. Since September 2022, he played for the club Ibiza. The footballer has 16 matches and six goals for the Spanish national team.
