Former Barcelona player Alexander Hleb has spoken out about an interview with Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo, who publicly criticized the coaching staff and said he had no respect for head coach Erik ten Hag.

It's not good when that happens. Cristiano is a great footballer and he's achieved a lot. Ronaldo and Messi have shared all the titles in this generation during this decade. Of course, it's not nice to publicly criticize a coach, even if you don't like him.
In the interview with Telecom Asia Sport, Hleb also states that "...Manchester United now is only slightly above the average level. This isn't the team that was under Sir Alex Ferguson, after he left they didn't even come close to that standard. Nowadays, whatever they do is a mistake. After Ferguson left, they made a lot of mistakes, they still can't find their style and the right solutions."
