Former Spanish Barcelona defender Jordi Alba will officially become a player of American Inter Miami on July 19. This was announced by the owner of the MLS club Jorge Mas.
Earlier, Alba's former Barcelona teammates, Argentine striker Lionel Messi and Spanish midfielder Sergio Busquets, transferred to Inter Miami.
Alba played for the Catalans from 2012 to 2023. He played 459 matches with the Blaugrana, scoring 27 goals and making 99 assists. Together with the team he became the champion of Spain six times, five times won the Spanish Cup and four times won the Super Cup. The defender became the winner of the Champions League in the 2014/15 season as part of Barcelona.
