Jack Wilshere, a 32-year-old former midfielder for London’s Arsenal and the England national team, has been appointed as the head coach of Norwich City, according to the club's press service.
Wilshere, who ended his professional playing career in 2022 with his last club being Danish team Aarhus served as the coach for Arsenal’s U-18 team until September 2024. He takes over from Johannes Thorup in the coaching role at Norwich.
After 11 matches in the 2024/2025 season, the Canaries have accumulated 17 points and currently sit in seventh position in the table of the second tier of English football.
