The International Football Association Board (IFAB) has decided to introduce blue cards in football in the near future, The Telegraph reports.
According to the source, players will be punished with the new card for an obvious tactical foul or frequent conversations with the referee.
After receiving a blue card, the player will be suspended from the pitch for ten minutes.
Testing of the new rule will begin with matches in women's and youth leagues, as well as in lower divisions. The terms of card implementation are unknown.
Earlier, the Spanish Football Federation supported the referees amid the scandals.
