Manchester City's 23-year-old player Phil Foden, in an interview with the Daily Mail, responded to head coach Pep Guardiola's words comparing him to Lionel Messi.
After a victory in the Manchester derby where Foden scored twice, Guardiola said that in Phil, he had "met the biggest ever player like Messi". The Spaniard noted that while the Briton may not reach the same level, he "wins matches".

No way? You can't compare anyone to Messi, he is in his own world but to hear that from the manager is really nice.
In the current season, Foden has played exactly 40 matches in all competitions, scoring 18 goals and providing 10 assists. Transfermarkt estimates the player at 110 million euros.
