Hans-Dieter Flick, who will lead Barcelona from the next season, would like to see Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Kimmich in the Catalan club, according to Sport.
According to the publication, the midfielder is currently considering where to continue his career. However, if he fails to extend his contract with Bayern Munich in the summer, he will likely be sold. Flick led Bayern Munich from November 2019 to June 2021.
After 37 rounds of the 2023/2024 La Liga season, Barcelona are in second place in the league table, with 82 points, trailing champions Real Madrid by 12 points.
It was previously reported that Barcelona may announce Flick's appointment as head coach on May 30.
