Hannah Dingley, who became the first female coach in England, will step down as head coach of Forest Green. Sky Sports reports that the club have signed a new contract with current Southampton B head coach David Horseman.
Forest Green will play two more friendly matches with the specialist before giving way to Horseman. In the first match under Dingley, the team played to a draw. The meeting took place the day after the appointment.
The first match of the new season in the English League 2 will be held on August 5 at 17:00 GMT+3. Forest Green will play against Salford at home.
