
According to Relevo, Real Madrid will compensate Carlo Ancelotti for the next season if they terminate his contract early.
Sources indicate that club president Florentino Pérez plans to pay the Italian coach the full sum owed under his contract, which runs until the summer of 2026.
It is expected that Ancelotti will remain with Real Madrid until the current La Liga season ends before presumably taking over as the head coach of the Brazil national team. Moreover, after his coaching career, Real Madrid may offer Ancelotti an ambassador role.
Carlo Ancelotti has been leading Real Madrid since 2021, but he also coached the team from 2013 to 2015. During his two tenures, he secured three UEFA Champions League titles, two La Liga championships, one Copa del Rey, and two UEFA Super Cups.
In mid-April, Real Madrid exited the UEFA Champions League after losing 5-1 on aggregate to Arsenal in the quarterfinals.
In La Liga, the team currently sits in second place with 69 points, four points behind leaders Barcelona. Earlier, Barcelona defeated Real Madrid 3-2 in the Cup final.
In other news, according to Fabrizio Romano, Carlo Ancelotti is set to officially become the coach of the Brazil national team in the summer of 2025.
