FIFA Deleted 2.6 Million Offensive Comments On Social Media Since 2022

The Social Media Protection Service (SMPS), launched ahead of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, has identified and hidden 2.6 million offensive comments directed towards footballers and teams on social media platforms.

On the UN's International Day for Countering Hate Speech I want to strongly reiterate that FIFA will always stand against hate being part of football.

The UEFA European Championship started on June 14th in Germany. The tournament will be held in ten German cities, with 32 teams competing for the title in Euro 2024.

Earlier, the International Federation of Professional Footballers' Associations (FIFPro) filed a lawsuit against the International Football Federation (FIFA).
