Zenit St. Petersburg's Brazilian midfielders Malcomo and Claudinho have been approved for Russian citizenship, the football club's Director General Alexander Medvedev said.

Earlier, Sport-Express reported that Zenit's Brazilian players will receive Russian citizenship in March 2023.
Malcom has been playing for Zenit since 2019. This season, he played in 23 matches for the St. Petersburg team, in which he scored 15 goals and provided seven assists.
Claudinho has been playing for Zenit since the summer of 2021. He played 19 matches this season. The 26-year-old midfielder scored three goals and made eight assists.
