FC Porto Parts Ways with Coach Bruno After Six Months

Portuguese football club FC Porto has announced the departure of head coach Vitor Bruno. The 42-year-old took charge of the team in the summer of 2024.

Jose Tavares has been appointed as the interim head coach. The decision to part ways came after two consecutive defeats for Porto in the Primeira Liga: a 1-3 loss to Gil Vicente and a 0-2 loss to Nacional.

Currently, Porto sit in third place in the Primeira Liga standings, with a total of 40 points.
