Bulgarian football club FC Arda has issued an apology to former player Petko Ganchev for mistakenly holding a moment of silence in his memory, erroneously announcing his death.
On March 16, prior to their home match in the 25th round of the Bulgarian championship against Levski, the club mistakenly declared a moment of silence for Ganchev. Shortly after the game commenced, the club's press service refuted the information, clarifying that it was an error.
Ganchev himself expressed his dissatisfaction with the incident, reminding everyone of his presence on social media, which caught public attention.
