
Journalist Fabrizio Romano has reported that 32-year-old forward Neymar, currently with Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal, is highly likely to continue his career at Brazilian club Santos.
According to the source, Neymar's return to Santos became inevitable after a verbal agreement was reached between the clubs. It is said that official steps to finalize the deal with Al-Hilal and verify documentation will take place as early as next week.
It’s worth noting that Neymar played for Santos from 2009 to 2013, appearing in 225 matches for the Brazilian side, scoring 136 goals, and providing 64 assists.
The 32-year-old Brazilian has been with Al-Hilal since the summer of 2023. His current contract with the club runs until the summer of 2025. Neymar has played just seven matches, scoring one goal and providing three assists for Al-Hilal. According to Transfermarkt, Neymar's market value is estimated at 15 million euros.
Earlier, Al-Hilal's head coach Jorge Jesus stated that Neymar would not be included in the squad for the second half of the local championship because his shape no longer meets expectations.
As reported by Globo Esporte, the 32-year-old Brazilian will receive $65 million for the termination of his contract with Al-Hilal.
